The teen center is located inside the Recreation Department at 831 Hardin Road in Newman.
Hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 2:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
The center is open to youth in 6th through 12th grades (grade verification is needed on first visit).
The center is supervised at all times, and admission and play are free of charge. Vending machines are available for snacks. For more information, call the teen center at (209) 862-4440.
Newman’s community skate park is located at 831 Hardin Road, next to the teen center.
Hours of operation are 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Appropriate safety gear is required, including helmets, elbow pads and knee pads.
Skateboards and inline skates are the only items allowed. No bicycles or scooters.
