Message From The Chief

The City of Newman Fire Department thrives on volunteerism, professionalism, and compassionate care. As a small-town fire department, we value relationships and community.

The City of Newman Fire Department is a combination department that provides fire protection and emergency medical response by dedicated professional volunteers who have a proud history of serving their residents, businesses, and visitors. These men and women are your neighbors, friends, and family who have answered the call for duty.

The fire department responds to fires, medical emergencies, vehicle accidents, and any other incident for which assistance is requested. We also provide non-emergency services such as public education, fire and life safety inspections, fire investigations, and many other administrative functions. No matter the need our firefighters, fire inspectors, and administrative staff stand ready to serve.

Our staff looks forward to the ever-changing environment of the fire service as the community continues to grow and change. We strive to meet the needs of those within our community and hope the fire department meets their expectations. We value our community traditions and cultures.
