Project Overview

What Is The Downtown Plaza Phase 2 Project?

The project seeks to revitalize the lawn area at the corner of Fresno Street and Highway 33, next to the main plaza area. Through prior community engagement, community members have provided ideas about what features and uses they’d like to see, such as a feature that honors our military veterans, areas to sit and gather, children’s activities, and a place for the festive Downtown Christmas Tree.

The project involves collaborating with the community to develop design concepts and a preferred concept.  Once a preferred concept is selected, future design refinements can ultimately lead to project construction!
